Dear Editors:

Thank you for the marriage article in your March 11 Frederick 
County edition, and especially for the inclusion of quotes from 
the supportive Unitarian Universalist minister.  We would like 
to offer one small correction to the quote from the rabbi who, 
while sympathetic, said, “the Jewish religion frowns on homosexuality.”  
There are several different Jewish movements, and the Reform, 
Reconstructionist, Renewal, and Humanistic movements all 
support equal civil marriage rights for same-gender couples.
