Dear Editors:

We were confused by Shellee Sutton’s March 13 letter, in which 
she claims that supporters of equal marriage rights for same-gender 
couples are “shaking their fists at God.”  The marriage supporters 
we know are all either non-theistic or believe in a deity or deities 
who favor love, justice, and the protection of families.
