Dear Editors:

We were completely confused by the April 8 letter from Don Hermansen 
regarding sex and marriage.  There is nothing in civil marriage law 
that currently prevents mixed-gender couples with asexual relationships 
from marrying each other, nor would the removal of gender discrimination 
from civil marriage laws prevent same-gender couples with asexual 
relationships from marrying each other.
